When Didier Drogba’s header nearly broke the net, he didn’t just equalise; he cemented his status as the ultimate Chelsea legend. For those of us who lived through that golden era, Drogba was so much more than just a striker. He was our talisman, our warrior, and the man who turned Stamford Bridge into an absolute fortress.
The Late Bloomer Who Conquered England
It is easy to look back at his 164 goals in Chelsea blue and assume he was always a global superstar, destined for the top from day one.
